Viewer

The Viewer object is an Internet browser which allows to embed access to a web site within a Capsule screen.

The main property of the Viewer is the Web Viewer Content Address which defines the URL

To configure the address,

• click on the Viewer's properties icon (located at the top right corner as illustrated)
• then select the Settings menu option
• and type the desired address in the Address panel.

The Address (URL) can be dynamically determined by the object's Layout:

• click on the Viewer's properties icon,
• then select the Layout option,
• configure the Layout as needed, considering that one column will be the URL (either a calculated column or a text cube),
• go to the Layout Value tab and drag&drop the column containing the address into the Selected Block field.

This allows for example having a master DataView object on the screen with for example your suppliers and when clicking on one the Viewer will display the relating web site.

Note that it is possible to include in the URL string also Board substitution formulas such as @username. For example,
