The Entity cut-off is a threshold that allows to regulate the performance of opening a database in particular when accessing through low bandwith connection. Entities that exceed the cut-off threshold are not cached on the client's PC thus reducing the data transfer volume and in practical terms this results in a faster opening of a Capsule screen.
Entities that exceed the cut-off value can be used without limitations in the navigation (in reports rows, columns or in drilling-down), they are however subject to some restrictions in the Select function and the Pager objects, only the first 300 items are listed and the No All option of the Pager cannot be enabled.
