Audit Trail Manager

The Audit Trail Manager (Home Screen of the Process Manager Capsule) provides monitoring and management capabilities of the status of the process tasks.

Select Scenario and Month.

> Preliminary Tasks Tab : it lists those Tasks that has been Categorized as Preliminary Tasks (please refer to Audit Setup Section)

> Global Tasks Tab : it lists those Tasks that has been Categorized as Consolidation Process (Global) (please refer to Audit Setup Section)

> Local Tasks Tab : it lists those Tasks that has been Categorized as Consolidation Process (Local) (please refer to Audit Setup Section)

For each task the following information are given :

> Done Y/N : it is flagged when the Task has been executed

> User : the Username who executed the last Change Status Action on such task

> Timestamp : the Datetime when the last Change Status Action has been executed on such task

For each task it is possible to perform the following Change Status Actions :

> Action : clicking on the "Done" Button confirms that such task has been done. User and Timestamp are updated. The "Done" button is available only if the Task Attribute Edit Y/N has been setup to True (please refer to Audit Setup Section) . If you try to perform on a blank cell an error message is prompted out.

> Undo Action : Clicking the "Undo" Button reset the Done Y/N properties . User and Timestamp are updated , this latter reports the word "(Undo)" if an "Undo" Action has been performed. The "undo" Button is available only if the "Done" Button is active and the Done Y/N property is true (Yes).

The Same report is available in the Consolidation Execution Screen : we suggest before executing the Consolidation procedure to check the mandatory steps have been recently done.

image41.jpg(1) By default in the existing Data Entry Forms there is no Lock based on the  Audit Trail. This decision has been taken to keep the Layout as simple as possible giving the flexibility to the developer to add more restrictive conditions. It si also clear that this approach is weak since the User can change the Screen Selection.

How to Link the Lock to the Audit Trail

> include the [Global Process To-Do List] or the  [Local Process To-Do List] Cube as Locking block in the Layouts.
